(for a 12-pound bird)
12 cups soft bread crumbs
4 tsps. salt
2 Tbsps. sage, savoury, or poultry seasoning
4 Tbsps. or more diced celery and leaves
2 Tbsps. minced parsley
1/4 tsp pepper
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup diced onion
- Sauté onion in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients and stir to brown a little. (This is a dry type stuffing.)
