CHICKEN-SKILLET STYLE-IN SAGE AND MUSHROOM GRAVY



          You use leaf sage and mushroom soup for the gravy.
          2 Tbsp. butter
          1 frying chicken, cutup
          1 can cream -of-mushroom soup with garlic
          1 tsp. leaf sage
          1/2 tsp. salt
                   Dash pepper
          1/4 cup water
            1. Heat butter in large skillet and lightly brown chicken.
            2. Then combine remaining ingredients; pour over chicken.
3. Cover tightly; simmer 40 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
 Serves 4.
