Rutabaga with Salt Pork



4 cups cubed rutabaga   
1 onion, minced
¼ lb. salt pork, finely diced
            Salt, and pepper to taste
Cook rutabaga in boiling water until tender. Cook pork until brown and crisp; add onion, and cook a few minutes longer. Add drained rutabaga. Cook 5 minutes, stirring often to brown cubes slightly. Season with salt and pepper. Makes 4 to 6 servings
