No Time to Dine Drink

I obtained this recipe from the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton Alberta. Originally the recipe called for brewers' yeast, which is no longer available but nutritional yeast can be found in many Chinese markets and Health Food Stores. This drink can also prove to be a huge cost saving to all of you who include Ensure, Boost, or other commercial food supplements in your diet.
The recipe makes 1 large drink which contains 40 grams protein, and is high in all important vitamins and minerals. It may also be made up in larger quantities and stored in the refrigerator like milk.
¼ cup non-fat powdered milk solids
½ cup unsweetened orange juice (while this drink can be made using other fruit juices; the use of such will change the nutritional content to some degree.)
1 cup plain yogurt
1 whole egg
1 Tbsp. plain gelatine
Put all ingredients into container and blend on high speed for 10 seconds. About 600 calories. If greater calorie content should be desired, add some corn syrup or liquid honey.
