East Indian Spice Mix-Basic Curry


3 cinnamon sticks
1/4 cup cardamom pods
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cumin seed
2 tsp. peppercorns
1 Tbsp. coriander seed
Heat 15 minutes in oven at 200 F. remove the coating from the cardamom and return the seeds to the mixture; grind or blend.
Add to meat or chicken recipes which contain curry powder.
