4 TBSPS. DICED ONION
1/2 CUP BUTTER
4 OR 5 CUPS WHITE BREAD CRUMBS OR CUBES
1 CUP BROKEN WALNUTS
1 TSP. SALT
1/2 TSP. POULTRY SEASONING
1/4 TSP. PEPPER
1/2 CUP DICED CELERY AND LEAVES
1/2 CUP MINCED PARSLEY
1/4 TO 1/2 CUP GIBLET STOCK
- Brown onions briefly in butter. Add to bread crumbs. Blend in walnuts, salt, poultry seasoning, pepper celery, and parsley. Moisten with stock, using enough liquid to make the stuffing hold together.
- Shape into 2-inch rounds. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven 375F for 20 minutes or until crisp and brown. Makes 6 servings.
