Pork Chops- Braised with Barbecue Sauce



Ingredients
6 pork chops        
Flour         
Barbecue sauce
Method
          Wipe the pork chops with a damp cloth and dust with flour. Sear on both sides until browned, and then place 1 Tbsp. sauce on each chop. Reduce heat, cover, and cook slowly 5 to 8 minutes. Turn chops and place 1 Tbsp. sauce on other side. Cover and cook slowly until tender, about 40 minutes. Serve with more sauce.
Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
4 Tbsps. minced onion             1 tsp. salt
1 cup tomato purée                  1 tsp. paprika
3/4 cup water                           1 tsp. chilli powder
3 Tbsp. vinegar                       1 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsps. Worcestershire
               sauce                       1/4 tsp.       cinnamon
                                               Dash ground cloves                                                                           
Method
            Combine all ingredients in order listed. Heat to boiling and use as directed.
