Braised Pork Chops with Bread Dressing



Ingredients
1 egg                                         1 onion, diced
1 tsp. salt                                  3 cups soft bread crumbs                                                                               
3/4 tsp. celery salt                    6 pork chops
1green pepper, diced                3 Tbsps. water
Method
            Beat the egg. Add the seasonings, pepper, and onion. Mix well. Then add the bread crumbs and mix.
            Place the pork chops in a braiser. Put some of the bread mixture on top of each chop. Put the water in the bottom of the pan. Cover the pan. Braise the chops in a moderate oven (350 F.) for 1- 1/2 hours. Serve hot. Yield 6 servings.
