Braised- Hungarian Style



Ingredients:
          Salt and pepper 
1 tsp. caraway seed
4 lbs braising beef
1 Tbsp. paprika
Flour
1-1/2 cups tomato juice
2 Tbsps. fat
          Hot cooked noodles     
2 onions, quartered

Method:
            Season meat. Dredge with flour. Brown well on all sides in fat. Add remaining ingredients, except noodles. Cover, and braise 3- 1/2 hours, or until tender. If liquid evaporates, add a little water during cooking. Remove meat, and thicken liquid, if desired. Serve with noodles. Serves six.
